Greetings brothers and sisters from world over. I pray that Christmas found you and yours close to our Savior. In the week I have off, I've immensely enjoyed being with my wife and daughter. As a couple I know found it to be a record after spending six whole days out of a month together, I am so grateful for the fact I get to see my family on a daily basis.
This one picture of Ellie was taken Christmas Day. We had an inch of snow Christmas Eve, giving us the acclaimed "white Christmas." Andrea and I bundled Ellie up and took her outside while I shoveled the drive. Andrea walked her around. She meandered over to the neighbors drive, then to the street, and then back to this puddle on the icy pavement. Sure, there was lots of snow in the soft grass in the yard, but it was this puddle that attracted my precious little girl. Was it the reflections of blue sky and passing clouds that caught her eye? Was it the island of packed snow in the black sea that gave her anchor? Or just that fact that kids love to play in water? I couldn't resist sharing this pic with you... but may life capture and enthrall you, even when you go snowshoeing in sub-zero temperatures with a screaming little girl (another story I'll relate to you if you ask--or you can read my wife's blog here).
Blessings friends...
Graham
